Charlotte’s sculptural work challenges women’s assigned roles by using traditional feminine crafts to reclaim and break the expected attractiveness,  approachability, and polish. Intestines are animated as the self occupying vulnerable spaces. In these domestic and public settings, the intestines are used to explore the precarious balance between vulnerability being a comfort or dangerous.
